Recreational Program

 

Registration:

  • Registration days and times will be posted on Facebook, website, and a detailed message will be on our answering machine.
  • Registration must be done in person.
  • Spots will not be held without completed registration paperwork and payment.
  • The Gymnastics year runs for July 1st to June 30.  New paperwork is required to be filled out every Gymnastics year.
  • To save time, please print registration form and bring with you at time of registration.

Payments:

  • Perferred method of payment is E-transfer, debit, or cash, 
  • All fees must be paid in full at time of registration and prior to participation.
  • Cheques must be dated on or before the starting date of the session.

 

NSF Cheques and Outstanding balances:

  • A $25.00 NSF fee applies to all returned payments.
  • All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to participation.
  • Registration may be declined if your account has any outstanding fees owing.

 

Withdrawals and Refunds:

  • To withdraw from a Recreational program we require 48 hours written notice.
  • Notice must state your child's full name, age, class time and day.
  • To withdraw please email your your request to shawn@lindsaygc.ca
  • $45.00 Gymnastics Ontario / Registration fee is non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be issued after 4th class.
  • An administration fee of $25.00 will apply to all withdrawals.

Credits:

  • If your child withdrew from a program, you may apply the balance of class fees to another child or program.
  • Credits issued for future use will be keep on file for 1 year. 
  • If you request a refund at a later date the $25.00 administration fees will apply at time of refund.

Missed classes:

  • We reserve the right to cancel classes.
  • Credits will not be issued for missed classes.

 

Health-Hygiene:

Children will be sent home if displaying symptoms of illness or communicable conditions such as. 

  • Cold / Flu
  • Runny nose
  • Fever
  • Chicken Pox
  • Head Lice
  • Pink Eye

Warts must be covered by sports / duct tape at all times. 

Children with stitches, fractures, broken bones or a cast will not be allowed to participate in gymnastics.

Children who are not toilet trained or have a weak / unpredictable bladder must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class.  If an accident happens, a change of clothes is required to return to their class / gym.


 

Tumble Bug Parents:

  • Only one parent per child is allowed in the gym during your class times.  Parents must actively participate at all times with their child when in the gym.
  • Additional parents, family members and friends are welcome to view from the lobby.  Our insurance does not cover additional members / friends in the gym during class.
  • Guardians must be 16 + years.

 

Gym Attire:

  • Gym suits, shorts, yoga / track pants, t-shirt and bare feet.
  • Pants, tops with zippers, belts / buckles, shirts, dresses, nylons, ballet slippers and socks are not permitted in the gym.
  • Hair must be tied back and out of face before class starts.
  • Stud earrings only. 
  • No watches or rings allowed.
  • Lindsay Gymnastics Centre is not responsible for belongings left in the lobby, change rooms, or gym. Please leave all valuables at home.
  • Water only in the gym. Sports drinks, pop, or juice will be not permitted in the gym or at the water table.

 

Spectators/Parents:

  • Do not communicate with your child from the lobby or doorway.  If you have questions or concerns please speak to the supervisor on duty.
  • Do not approach your child's coach.  Bring your questions and concerns to the office.
  • No Photography / Video is allowed.  We offer a viewing week during our Fall, Winter and Spring sessions.  During viewing week you are invited to a designated area in the gym and will have the opportunity to take pictures and videos.
  • There is a $5.00 charge (per block) if your child is found damaging foam blocks by picking, tearing or biting.  

Late Pickup:

  • Please ensure you are in the lobby before the end of your child's class.  A $20.00 fee will apply for all late pickups.

Garbage:

  • We have adopted a boomerang garbage policy. Please take all your garbage home with you.
  • Do not leave dirty diapers, coffee cups, drinking bottles and food waste in our bathroom garbage bins or around the lobby.
